Founder and owner of Trueflight Manufacturing and Laroe Farms, Manitowish Waters, WI.  Crafty Feathers, Overton, Nevada.

Lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union Southern Headquarters - Atlanta Georgia.

Covert Photography for the Allies during WW2.

Harvin Abrahamson - Class of 1941

Taught in the public school system at Seymour, Wisconsin Dells, and Milwaukee.  He has also been on staff at the Columbia Cty. Teachers College.

Director of Ambulatory Care Services and Director of Nursing at the US Naval Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Was involved with State DOT's, cities, and counties concerning Highway Bridges across our Railroads and Railroad Bridges over state, county, and city roads.

BS Degree from UW-Madison in Agricultural Engineering.  Vice President-Underground Group, Vermeer Corporation, Pella, Iowa.

Mike Glover - Class of 1978

President of Glover Manufacturing, Wittenberg, WI.  Besides being an area employer, Mike holds a US patent on Debarking equipment used by the log home industry.

Inventor of the EZ Sand Pro and EZ Sand Shape Marketer; Entrepreneur.

Ralph Schroeder - Honorary Class of 2000

Petroleum Entrepreneur & Businessman.  For his continuing concern & support for his community & country.

Harland D. Hirt - Class of 1957

Environmental Engineer & Planner.  His work for the EPA was developing, promoting and reviewing water quality management for the Great Lakes, the Mississippi, & Ohio Rivers.  Regional Expert for water quality management planning, he contributed to the formulation of national programs implementing the Clean Water Act.

Herbert Karolus - Class of 1923

Physician; Appointed Group Surgeon during WW2.  Public Health Officer & Area Surgeon for the Railroad..

Edna Aschinger - Class of 1923

Teacher, Postmaster, and Humanitarian.  Teacher, Postar Service for over 30 years.  Appointed by Pres. Truman; Poet and Community Service.

2013

Michael R. Dobrinska - Class of 1967

Doctorate of Pharmacy, UW-Madison 1977.  Executive Director of Pharmacokinetics for Merck Research Labs.

2014

Paul H. Tober - Class of 1965

Enlisted in US Army - June 5, 1968.  Killed in action 2/23/1969 in South Vietnam. E4 Battery E, 82nd Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division.

Randy J. Kauffman - Class of 1983

Served in US Marine Corps 1982-1998.  Staff Sergeant 1994-1998.  Senior Budget Analyst for Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

BS-Northwestern 1944/ MD-Univ. of Minnesota 1949.  Family Physician (1950-2010) and was instrumental in setting up SE Wisconsin's first hospice program.

Pat Berg - Class of 1963

Heavy Equipment Operator & Business Owner.  Tigerton EMS - Tigerton Fire Dept. Secretary.  Village Board Trustee.  Deacon at St. Anthony's Church.

Gerald V. Krueger - Class of 1950

Tigerton Businessman.  Farmer and Self-taught Carpenter.  Owner of Tigerton Retail from 1974-1993.

The Tigerton School District is seeking qualified nominees for its Alumni Hall of Fame.  Nominations will be accepted until January 31st for the coming year.  Please complete the form below and return to the District Office.

The Tigerton Alumni Hall of Fame was founded in 1997.  By honoring outstanding graduates who have made significant contributions to improving the quality of local, state, or national life, the district seeks to identify models of achievement for students to emulate.

Lifetime Engraved Wall Tiles

 

The School District of Tigerton is selling Lifetime Engraved Wall tiles. The tiles will be placed in the High School Commons in an area highly visible in the school. If you are interested in purchasing a tile please fill out the order form located on this page and submit it to the District Office. Tiles will be sold until the wall is filled.
